Terms of service

The terms for the FDFS · Seat Watch Telegram bot and the film credits sold for it.

1. Who runs it

The FDFS · Seat Watch Telegram bot (@FDFSAlertsBot, "the bot") is a product of SignalSky, operated by:

Payments are processed by Razorpay and appear on the payment screen and your bank statement under the name SignalSky.

2. What the bot does

You share a film from District to the bot in a private Telegram chat. The bot then checks District for you, from a server, so it keeps working while your laptop is shut:

• Booking opens: it tells you when tickets for the film go on sale at the theatres you picked, including premiere shows.
• Seats: it tells you when seats you asked for become free at a show you picked.

The bot only watches and alerts. It never books tickets, holds seats or pays for anything on your behalf, and it does not need or ask for your District account. Seat Watch is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to District or BookMyShow.

3. Film credits

The bot is paid for with film credits:

• Your first film is free.
• One credit is one film in one city. It covers that film's booking-opens alerts and seat watches on any of its shows in that city. Changing theatres, languages, formats or shows for a film you have already added is free, and so is adding it again after removing it.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes.
• Credits do not expire, are tied to the Telegram chat whose account code was entered when paying, and cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another chat.
• When credits run out, films you already added keep being watched; only new films need a credit.

4. Buying and delivery

Send /account to the bot to see your account code (for example FDFS-7KQ2X). Buy a pack on this website and enter that code on the payment page. Credits are added to your chat automatically, usually within a few minutes of a successful payment, and the bot messages you when they arrive. Nothing is shipped; delivery is the credits appearing in your account. If credits have not arrived within an hour, write to us with your account code and the payment ID from your receipt.

If you enter someone else's code, the credits go to them. Please check the code before paying.

5. No guarantee of tickets or alerts

The bot depends on District's website, Telegram and the internet, none of which we control. District can change its site, delay listings or limit requests; Telegram can delay messages. We work to make alerts fast and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that every opening or free seat will be noticed, that an alert will arrive in time, or that tickets or seats will still be available when you try to book. A credit buys the watching, not a ticket.

6. Fair use

• Use the bot in a private chat, for yourself. Group chats are not supported.
• Do not try to get around credits — for example by automating new accounts for the free film — or use the bot to overload District or anyone else.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Credits of a suspended account are not refunded.

7. Changes and availability

We may change the bot, its prices or these terms. Price changes do not affect credits you have already bought. If we ever shut the bot down for good, we will say so in the bot at least 14 days in advance where we can.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything to do with the bot is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for missed shows, tickets or seats, or for any indirect loss.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
